Welcome to the Student gathering on the 26th-27th of April in Stockholm!
On behalf of the Student Council, student activists from all over the country are welcomed to the student gathering for a weekend filled with Activism, Human Rights work and of course getting know each other better! The theme for the weekend is The Impact of Social media on Conflicts and will include lectures, panels, workshops, planning for actions and acitivies and of course space to network and share experiences!
The schedule for the weekend is as below but not that times may vary a little
- Saturday: 12-18:00
- Sunday: 09.00-15:30
Practical information
Amnesty will cover costs for travelling and accomodation for those who live outside of Stockholm/more than 1 hour travelling from Stockholm.
Travels from outside of Stockholm will take place saturday morning (friday morning for activists joining from Norrland). Travels back will take place sunday afternoon.
In accordance with Amnesty's accomodation policy, accomodation standard is hostel or lower hotel standard and offered rooms are shared (e.g double, triple- or four-bed rooms).
Amnesty is not able to cover costs for those who wish to have single rooms.
Amnesty will also cover costs for meals during the gathering (lunch, fika and dinner saturday & lunch and fika sunday).
For local travels within Stockholm from Central Station to the office/hotel, please use your operational grant for your group.
*Last minute cancellations or being absent witout notifying may result in a payment fee or not being able to join the next gathering*
